Fits your shower
Universal G1/2 inch thread. Fixed heads, handheld units, rain heads and hoses.
The water
Municipal water is treated to be safe to drink — not to be kind to skin and hair.
Chlorine, rust and dissolved minerals dry out skin, fade colour-treated hair and leave that tight, itchy feeling after every shower. BAUME stacks four working media — mineralised spheres, activated carbon, KDF and calcium sulfite — so what reaches you is genuinely cleaner, not merely warmer.
Four layers between your wall and your skin
Mineralised spheres take out impurities and odour. Activated carbon absorbs silt and iron. KDF traps chlorine and heavy metals. Calcium sulfite neutralises what is left.
Rather than pad the count with media that does nothing, BAUME uses four that work.
Questions
Will it lower my water pressure?
No. The internal flow path is sized to maintain full pressure while the water passes through the media, at roughly 8 litres per minute.
Does it fit my shower?
If your shower head unscrews from the arm, it fits. BAUME uses the standard G1/2 inch thread found on almost every shower in the United States, and installs between the arm and the head, or between the hose and a handheld head.
How often do I replace the cartridge?
Up to every six months, or about 12,000 gallons for a typical household. The media darkens as it works, so it is easy to see when it is spent.
How long does delivery take?
Shipping within the United States is free. Orders leave our supplier within 24 hours and typically arrive in two to three weeks. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is scanned.
